Paris is dotted with scale models of the Statue of Liberty. They really love America. Next to this statue is an American Oak planted in remembrance of the victims of September 11, 2001.
French people try to learn English with American accents. They're fighting with us in Afghanistan and they've been our allies since the American Revolution.

At one fountain in the Luxemburg Gardens, it is possible to rent small sailboats which you send back into the middle by poking at them with long sticks.
