I went in search of cute camping gear at a very confusing mall in Den Haag. I didn't find any, but they did have a really detailed model train layout of a German rail line.

Nicole tried following this labyrinth beside the cathedral in Orléans, but it was decorative only. It had a split in it where you could pick different directions!
Xena was disinterested, either because she has no soul, or could tell it wasn't a real labyrinth.

This device was trebuchet-like and used for firing largish arrows, quickly and without the skill required to use a regular bow.

The armored guys are now trying out a machine-loaded crossbow. It is pulled tight with a crank. The string is then locked in place with a trigger. A large arrow gets loaded in. The whole thing swivels freely, so you can aim it at anything. The arrows it shoots are impressively large. You could take down an armored knight or a horse with one of these.
They were letting folks try firing it, but before I could give it a shot, they also set off their canon, which terrified my dog so much that we had to leave. alas.
