Please take a moment to email or call your senators and ask them to filibuster Alito. I just sent two emails and it took all of ten minutes. (Not willing to call from France, alas.) Do it for choice. Do it for queers. Do it for people of color. Do it for you! (Even straight white men need the privacy rights.)

Actually, privacy rights are for chumps. But for queers and choice, alright. We need those more than white straight males need the NSA not to monitor their email.

Well, actually, these right wing folks are sometimes opposed to heterosexual practices aside from procreative missionary married once a month for jesus sex. So it wasn’t eaves dropping that I was referring to.
However, spying is a huge problem and I’m going to go out on a limb and imagine that weirdos like queers, people of color and activists are most likely to get the short end of that stick too.
I’d hate to have to rank all these issues by importance.
I want the right to NOT have my privacy invaded by white straight males. (hopefully my ex-husband is reading this. grrr.)
